Before joining Cushman & Wakefield, from 2013 till 2015, Marina worked as Acquisitions & Development Director at Starwood Hotels & Resorts Worldwide, Inc., overseeing CIS and the Baltics. Marina established new contacts in the hotel industry with the goal of growing development pipeline for the company in the region, managed ad hoc project teams, and actively participated in closing of deals in Russia, Georgia, Armenia, Lithuania. She also strengthened public views of Starwood’s 10 brands via regular participation as a speaker in trade shows and conferences (including IHIF, RHIC, BREIF, GRI). Between 2005 and 2013, Marina headed the Russian team of Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels where she established and built sustainable Russian business of the firm.

During her tenure, Marina personally led and participated in a number of high-profile deals to include the Four Seasons Moskva, W St. Petersburg, Sofitel Moscow City, Radisson Kaliningrad operator search mandates, the Swissôtel Krasnye Holmy asset management, as well as numerous valuations (to include the Mospromstroy hotel portfolio in Moscow) and high-level research projects (including study of the hotel market potential in North Caucasus). Marina was involved in a number of investment deals including sale of the Sheremetyevskaya hotel to a foreign investor. From 1995 and until her move to Jones Lang LaSalle Hotels in 2005, Marina worked in the Strategic Advisory and Valuation department Jones Lang LaSalle, starting as an Analyst and rising to the Associate Director position.
